Looking for referrals for Facebook (Meta) if anyone can help me out! I applied for the Associate General Counsel (Commercial) role and I’m coming from a publicly traded company where I have been Regional Counsel. I have 10 years experience in-house, 5+ doing commercial agreements. I’m really interested in this position, so if you’re willing to refer me please send me a message and we can work something out! Thank you!@
Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

I really think the value of clerkships is overblown. They can be valuable/essential for certain career paths, but not necessary for others. If the plan is to stay at a law firm long term, I certainly don’t think a clerkship is necessary and think the extra year at a firm is probably more valuable. And I think it’s tough to leave for a clerkship after just starting at a firm. Hugely disruptive for them and for you.
That said, they are definitely perceived as prestige markers (for better or worse) and are often excellent experiences. It can also be a very clean, natural way to make a break from your current firm if you’re looking for a switch.
