I finished up with final interviews on Monday. Is it a bad sign that I’m still waiting to hear back today? Don’t companies typically reach out almost immediately with an offer if they choose you?

PWC offered 23+2JB+2(assuming bonus at 10%) for 5yoe. And I'm getting 27-28 from other service based companies. However I'm confused if I should go higher fixed ctc or brand name, ie PWC. Thoughts?

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? I’m afraid of settling at a lower price than what they can do at the top end of the range! Do I anchor by asking for an outrageous figure or let them offer a salary figure first?
