H-1B Second Round Lottery for the 2022 Fiscal Year
In the upcoming fiscal year of 2022, the USCIS has made calculations on the number of H-1B visas to offer to randomly selected applicants based on acceptances, rejections, and revocations provided for previous years. The initial lottery selection for the H-1B registrants was provided for in March 2021.

Push for a bonus hard, you deserve it! If the firm is struggling (low work load, staff layoffs), then be delicate about it. I am 110% sure some firms will use this as an opportunity to screw salaries for a few years without justification. So asking won't necessarily hurt you.
This would be easier if you were at a regional or boutique firm or in-house. You’d lay low, eat some shit, but the powers that be would recognize what you did and it might work out for you very well in the long term.
But at national or larger firms, you likely get no credit for that.
Yeah. I’m in big law. I’m pretty sure a third party dictates our bonuses.
You need to make sure that they know you have high expectations of them concomitant of the high expectations you have of yourself
Push for the bonus with the same intensity that the big-law powers that be would push to potentially let you go if you had not met your hours...
