I’m a mid-level associate at a big firm, but in a lower-rate market so salaries are low (110 starting, 5-20 bonuses). Expectation is 1800. I stepped up when others had to pull back for COVID reasons and am on track to bill 2300 this year. Firm hasn’t lifted the temporary 10% COVID pay cut yet and review season is near. Do I push for a bonus (if so, how hard?) or shut the hell up and be grateful I am healthy and have a 6 figure job?

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
