On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). So I recently got a job offer on the brand side, as a marketing specialist in Canada for a reputable company likes of Loblaws, Shell, Sobeys, Canadian Tire. The role encompasses alot more than just branding, includes ux research and was wondering how much is a good overall package for this excluding insurance benefits.

A good friend of mine graduated from Parsons this past summer, has degrees in Journalism and French, is a talented photographer and designer (which I feel I have a pretty decent eye for after working at a design-driven branding agency for half a decade). I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
