Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

If you're being offered a contract that's unacceptable to you that's all you need to say. You know what's right for you. If there's the possibility of adjusting some of the terms so that it's agreeable to you that's may be a solution. If that's impossible, just be adamant. If someone is trying to pressure you into something you find unacceptable that's honestly a bridge that's worth burning.
Listen to your gut. And really, if they keep trying to force a job on you that you don't want, THEY'RE the one who should be worried about burning the bridge, not you. If they won't let up, you are free to take your business elsewhere. There are a lot of recruiters out there.
I was a traveler for 7 years. Some recruiters will say anything just to get the traveler in the door. They're not going to be the one dealing with the situation. Don't do it ifyou don't feel comfortable. You don't have to leave the agency, ust ask for a different recruiter. And if that doesn't work, change agencies. I worked with different agencies so I never was without a job. If one agency didn't have what I wanted, there was always another one who did. Trust your gut.
