Yes, follow up and ask. Clarify the level and the structure of comp. Salary may be unimpressive, but maybe the overall package is still good.
Yeah I’d recommend. I’ve called it quits after that first recruiter call when comp doesn’t align/wouldn’t be enough to jump. Huge waste of everyone’s time and better to find out in the beginning
Is the issue base salary, or are you taking about total comp including equity? Have heard that Salesforce pays really well, so I'd be surprised it the difference in TC was that low unless you're being severely under leveled
Yea the base salary
What comp did the recruiter tell you? Bonus and RSU is a thing but base is most of the comp
There is an rsu and bonus comp but the base is not high enough to quit current job or even to stay at salesforce for a long period of time
RSU will most likely be 40k+ but they won't budge much on the base.
What was the base they were offering and whats ur YOE.
Ping me in case you need help with clearing.
I just joined sometime back
It is the base salary that’s the issue.. there is rsu and 15pc bonus although i dont know what the rsu will be.
Whats ur current base and yoe.
They nvr asked my previous salary i just told him what i wanted
