Depends on your background. Becoming more technical helps. Take CS50x and learn basics of computer science.
I recommend one of two paths:
1. Take courses from Pragmatic Institute that will give you a good foundation for how to be a classically trained product manager.
2. Get a copy of Steven Haines's book The Product Manager's Desk Reference Guide.
I am recently retired, but I took the path of a classical product manager and not a technical product manager. I got further being a classical, i.e., strategic product manager because the executive team would rather interact with a 'business leader' than with another pseudo-technologist. Just my two cents based on forty years of tech work.
