Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/ Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?
Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

I don’t work there personally, but I have a sister in HR and I had this question before. Many of those services automatically repost roles after a period of time for a company until/unless turned off.
Why would they stop interviewing or accepting applications if you haven’t even gotten to the third round yet? There are so many question marks in the air still.. what if the third round eliminates you? What if it goes great (we hope!) and YOU turn THEM down.
There is literally zero reason to speculate here, just concentrate on killing that third round interview.
It's very common that job postings are set to automatic depending on the job board however just from experience until a verbal offer is made and accepted they won't take the listing down.
Also to add it's very common to go through 3-4 skills and competency based interviews. This interview structure is commonly used in large organisations, but you should definitely give it your best, fingers crossed and best of luck!
There could be lots of things going on. I would proceed with the interview, but don't put all your eggs in this basket. They are looking for multiple candidates. You should be looking at multiple opportunities. If I can be of greater help, reach out to me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/alanjstein/
