If “crushing it” is a result of you working above and beyond your contracted hours, then I would temper your standards of what crushing it means.
You’re contracted to a certain amount of working hours - figure what is manageable during that time and make sure you’re hitting your high priority tasks then. Judge how much you’re willing/able to do extra so you can feel the reward of overachievement.
If your workload is based on what is being passed on to you, learn to say no, or to work with your manager/stakeholders to prioritize accordingly - i.e. don’t take on something new without removing something from your task list.
I would say that the fact that you realize you have zero work life balance and are actively thinking about not getting burnt out are clear signs that you should look into taking some time off soon. Maybe something that could work for you would be taking a day of PTO every so often. So instead of missing work for a whole week or more, you can give yourself 3 day weekends whenever you need to catch a break. At the very least it'll be more sustainable for you to commit to work.
Very similar story here...I would say look work will ALWAYS be there but think about your soul, what you like, what motivates you. If it truly is work, then fine but if not...you gotta make time for it. Also having PTO planned and booked in advance is a VERY good motivator
Can you elaborate on how you crushing it? I think a big part of being good at your job is managing your work and life at the same time. If you are excelling at work but you are not taking care of yourself or maintaining your relationships, it worries me because that's not sustainable.
Part of being a leader/manager is knowing how to self-regulate, set priorities, appropriately delegate, and communicate. If you’re burning out, it may be because you lack some of these qualities and are choosing to “do it all” (you mentioned that you’re ambitious). If that’s the case, you may want to look into coaching and/or having a conversation with your supervisor to get more balance in your workload.
However, if you’re working in a “crushing it/burnout” work culture, then there may be a larger, institutional/systemic issue that will require deeper thinking and assessment of whether or not it’s the right place for you in the long run.
