A1 - I see .. you’re likely in a non-metro market then bc I’m not involved with those offices much. Good to know though
Dm me with market info and jd year, and I’ll give you some ideas.

Morgan Lewis! I’m a homer though so take it with a grain of salt.
Oh man, I could go on for days. I have been there a long time (~10 years) and while it definitely has some of the drawbacks of a large firm, particularly as a junior (no control over your schedule), I absolutely love the firm. The people are just really great. I’ve had many heart to hearts with partners over the years and those relationships are very strong and keep me at the firm. The people are very supportive and want to put associates in opportunities where they can succeed. Leadership is also really invested in its people. This is perhaps sexist, but I think having a female head of the firm and a diverse woman running the LEPG (who is a total badass) really do influence the culture in a very positive way. Among associates, we are busy, but very supportive of each other. The culture is very unpretentious though. The people who come in and think their shit doesn’t stink won’t last long. The big downside is just that we are always very busy. I think average hours across LEPG associates is around 2100. I have had many years well above that, but that’s because I don’t know what a boundary is. Even so, I really enjoy the work and the environment. I wouldn’t ever leave to go to another firm and at one point i had an offer to go in house and am very happy I turned it down. Happy to chat more in PM or refer anyone interested.
