Hello fam. T&E is back online.
Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Assuming you mean Managing Director, the difference is Partners and Principles are part owners of the firm, but Managing Directors are not owners.
Managing Directors are at the top of the food chain, but they are W2 employees. They make a lot of money, but Partners and Principles make more.
Also Partners have a CPA.
*make more after first 5 years. Usually the buy-in for partners and principals is amatorized over 5 years but only am aware of external hires coming in as owners if they had their company acquired.
We do have directors in non-US member firms. Is that what you mean OP?
What level are you now? Are you talking with Deloitte about a managing director role? I'm surprised they would level you up if you're an SM now at ACN.
Partners are CPAs - so unless you're a CPA that's not possible for you.
Principals are equity owners (they're partners without CPAs).
Managing Directors are essentially P/P equivalents but salaried.
