How loud are weighted sled pushes? Anything I could push up and down the street without the whole neighborhood hearing it every time?

Depends on the type of sled. You can get one with wheels and it won't be loud at all. Though they're not as good and much more expensive.

like

Yeah I was looking at those buts it's hard to justify the 1k... Feel like I'll figure a better alternative out for cheaper.

My neighbor used to push his jeep down the street. Only problem is kind neighbors will come out to ask if you need help

Is grass an option? Not sure wheels are the answer as it could reduce the friction and therefore the resistance requiring more plates for the same effort.

At a CrossFit outfit once (in FL - ground was flat abs the grass was pretty torn up) but I go to the gym and keep things simple. Sled on Astro Turf works a lot better.

like

The sled I used at my previous trainer is loud and I was just pushing it up and down their driveway. But assuming you’re not pushing it at 6am and only keep it to a decent amount of time daily, it should be ok. Be prepared for people to not be huge fans of yours but don’t be obnoxious about it and you’ll be good.

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Is Tokyo doable as a solo traveler with zero knowledge of the language? Thinking of doing a group trip there but adding on a few days alone in Tokyo at the beginning. I’m pretty well traveled in general and do just fine alone, but a different alphabet certainly makes things harder (if translations aren’t common). Female if that makes a difference.

I got out of my water drinking habit and finding it hard to build back up to 100oz + per day. I don’t like the fact I’ve added in drinks with fake sweeteners to get more fluid intake. What do you all drink to supplement water that is better than some artificially flavored and/or colored beverage? I feel nothing exists and I just need to get back to my water habit. Maybe any good water bottles that help you drink more?
