Under Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), if you work for a company (public or private) with 15 employees or more you are entitled to reasonable accommodations unless it REALLY poses undue hardship on the company. This includes being able to work from home. My team is mandated 2x/week minimum in the office and I told HR I needed to wfh. It was automatically approved under PWFA. I had the same issues with motivation and fatigue. I was prescribed vitamin B12 by my OBGYN. Hang in there! You’re doing great Mama!
Thanks, but I’m not in the USA. However, similar laws apply here. I can make a flexible working request. I just work in one of those startup cultures that’s all about perfectionism and toxic positivity so I think they might say no. But if they do, it has to be a legal given reason. It’s just crazy how I am physically drained after just a half hour commute.
