Normal! You’re in the trenches, but it’ll get easier as they get older. Promise - it’s a tough season, and I feel this a lot. I debated wanting a second one when my kiddo was 1 because I hadn’t slept in over a year, and it’s HARD. But it got better eventually. Talk to your friends, ask for help, and prioritize your mental and physical well being when you can. Moms are freaking warriors.
Thank you, I had tears in my eyes reading this 🥲
10 months to 1.5 years always felt like the hardest stretch for me. They start getting mobile and anxiety over what they’ll get into, touch, trip over, or bonk with their heads is the highest. Getting outdoors, and talking to other mothers helped a LOT, as did the passage of time and them growing a little and being less of moving/wiggling anxiety drivers.
Thank you for this 🙏
Babies are SO HARD but kids…kids are great. Eventually it stops being a relentless grind, toddlers become more independent and gradually you start getting pieces of yourself back.
Something to look forward to! Thank you
