I’m interested in environmental science positions with the state (Arizona or other). I have submitted a few applications, but would love advice on what to do next to secure interviews/offers. I have completed the technical interview last week and just got a behavioral interview offer for tomorrow. Will there be another interview after this?

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I don’t have my side business listed on my resume because I don’t feel like I have enough positive “stats” to report yet given it’s new. Any advice or recommendations?

What are things to think about when considering a job from a startup? Especially with todays economy in mind? I currently work at a non startup company. I have never worked at a startup. I want to change jobs but I’m a bit worried about job security with the current economy. For context I would be working in software.
