Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?

Hey everyone, I got a call from Deloitte recruiting on Wednesday of last week discussing salary requirements and location. They told me that the team really liked me and that they were going to work on an offer. I got a call on Friday saying one group has approved the offer but they are waiting on others. I haven’t heard much since then. Should I be worried? How much longer will I have to wait?

Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Agencies are always pulling this BS thinking, as if what they do and how they operate is some esoteric alchemy. It's absurd.
Anyway. You were client-side and therefore are exceedingly familiar with how clients think (and what they want/need to hear). This is priceless. It's the harder side of the equation (brand side has serious people and usually more grounded responsibilities; agencies make decks filled with idiotic fantasies, with truly special breakthrough thinking sometimes sprinkled in, if you're lucky).
Two years is plenty of time to get familiar enough with the client/agency dynamic. That part isn't rocket science. And it's really only superficially different from collaborating with internal groups anyway.
I’d acknowledge the concern but reframe it. Highlight how your agency experience, even if brief, combined with your other roles has given you strong client-facing skills. Maybe share a story about managing stakeholders, handling feedback, or driving strategy. Show them you’re ready to grow into that side of the role!
