I am drowning in customer service 🫠 I have also seen some roles in implementation. Interviewed with a tech company and did the take home test. The interviewer said and I quote "you did phenomenal in testing, however, we decided to pause this position for the time being." That seems to be a trend. How do I identify these problems within the interview process and keep from wasting my time? It is frustrating, to say the least.

I’m an experienced director that has worked mainly on commercials and short form original and branded content. I am starting to get a lot more work requests from major networks to direct shows similarly to Chef’s Table and Ugly Delicious.

They usually want a project rate and I am struggling to determine what this would be. My commercial rate is USD$1,500 per day but I think that is going to be out of their budget if the project takes 2-3 months.
