I moved to freelance 3 years ago after having my second child, and now that they are a older, I’m ready to make this move. Any thoughts on companies that are have great work-life balance for parents? I have 13+ years of exp all at comms agency (8 of which were at a big name firm.) Appreciate any leads/advice/encouragement as I take this step!

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

I'm an RN of 7 years, experience as a coordinator, on committees and do all the things. But now I just don't want to go to work anymore. I have anxiety every morning over nothing, just having to go perform my job. I could do my job in my sleep so I'm just lost and confused. My body is clearly sending me messages to leave. How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.

Anybody with a priority date of mid-late 2015 that is considering switching jobs? I have an offer that I was about to sign, but saw that priority dates for filing in EB2 are already at sep 2014 this April.
