Ugh I know this can be tough, but you are doing the best you can do and that's all that matters. Make sure you don't take a bad position just because you're feeling desperate but you may want to open to some clinics that aren't top of your list and then try to move forward from there.
I am sorry to hear that. Rejection is normal especially for those first time applicants. It will hurt definitely but remember that you are not the only person who had gone through that. there are people who had gone through worse. But what's important is you never give up. For sure there is something much better waiting for you.
Just keep trying. Even though the employment market is terrible, you only need one sucess after a hundred rejections. Besides that, you never know when the business that liked you enough to put you in the running will decide that the employee they ended up hiring isn't working out or will have a sudden opening.
Don't be too hurt by the rejections. If they choose to go with someone else, it can just be because they possess one more item than you, which made the decision. You just need to keep searching through the garbage to find them, but it will be worthwhile when you do. It's okay, someplace else will want you.
Simply move on to the second one and give it another go when you can. Everything you've learned thus far will be useful for wherever you're headed. Wherever the next interview is, even the one that was a failure will be helpful.
After a while, you get accustomed to it. It's not meant to sound depressing, but it stinks not to get the job you really wanted. However, failure is inevitable and greater and larger things are always around the corner.
It happens and is part of growing up. There are still a lot of places that can take you and where you could benefit from greatly. I bet you are an upstanding person
What's your location? maybe I can help with your problem. We greatly welcome people who have the passion for it
That's totally understandable, OP. Even the world-renowned vets have been through a series of rejection. Feel what you need to feel and move forward.
I have been rejected 5 times before I landed my first job. It was discouraging but that's just how life is. You can't let life bring you down. Keep the faith.
I understand you, OP. We were all once in your shoes. And that's okay. You might even think that you don't belong but it's totally the opposite.
Don't let failure and rejection define you. Leave that to persistence. I'm sure you'll land a job soon. Rooting for you!
Don't worry. Just keep pulling yourself up whenever something brings you down. I have been job hunting for months before I got accepted at my current workplace.
It is disappointing and hurts now, but try to take something constructive out of the experience. Did they give you any feedback? If not, at the very least, you have to experience the interview process!
What state are you in? I have many practices (private and corporate) looking for vets.
