Does anyone have experience booking a round-trip ticket (rather than 2 one ways) and boarding at the layover location?

I am looking to book a trip this spring from Austin to Zurich (Amsterdam as the layover on the way back). If we decided to travel from Zurich to Amsterdam via train, could we board the layover flight to get home? Or will the airline (KLM/Delta) cancel our flight when we don’t show up to the Departure location?

My utilization is 90% but all of my clients are small jobs. Does that look worse than someone who works on the larger, higher revenue generating jobs with all else equal (utilization/performance)?

Anyone has IBS here? Lately I have been having a lot of symptoms of IBS and even if I’m not fully constipated, I think I am to a certain extent. I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at.
