Not to pry but context helps. What’s the gist of the job and how does it relate to your future aspirations? For example, are you looking to become a CTO, CIO, COO, Data Officer, Product VP, Head of Analytics, Head of Strategy? As all of these are relevant roles with slightly different paths
Good deal - nice short list! And Happy New Year’s!
If looking to steer clear of heavy coding last alternative supporting long-term operational strategy is Analytics & Business Insights Manager.
Whichever sounds closest to the title you want after that somewhere later
I actually think your current title sounds better.
Use the word “Lead”. As in “ Data Strategy Lead”
It sounds definitive but it doesn’t really mean you are the top person but that you are a leading the businesses in some role.
Assistant to the Regional Manager.
Data strategy manager.
Oh, I think ‘Product Owner’ has gained popularity as well? Not sure exactly what that encompasses and seems to not translate well across all industries
Product owner is generally equivalent to project manager/tech project manager/scrum master. If you do BI, I’d say you want something with data and/or analysis in the title. From what you’re describing, you’re almost certainly not a product manager… you can try for that title if you want to pivot into product, but it’s a very different skill set. You also mention strategy in your title in some titles but not all’s Ultimately, you should look up industry standard titles that align with what you actually want to do (just look at open reqs at larger companies) so your title will translate easily… otherwise, HMs won’t take a seemingly made up title seriously
Does it even matter
