I would imagine there might be some perks… but it’s basically a corporate gig. You better be on your P’ & Q’ or you’ll find yourself unemployed real fast since “hospitality” equals “house slave” to most employers and clientele
I would not be so sure. Often times the larger resorts/ brands are more likely to penny pinch. And $43,000 sounds pretty nice. I wish I was bringing that in right about now. But you never know what you could earn until you apply for and get a job offer at one of those larger resorts, good luck to you with whatever you decide to do.
No. The bigger the name the greedyer the company
It looks like the average per Glassdoor is around $16/hour, or about $33k. I guess you never really know until you get an offer though, might be worth applying just to see.
Not always. It depends on your location and the property for sure. I worked at a Marriott property in NYC and was paid $21/hr for night audit. Currently being onboarded for a similar role for a smaller company at $28.
Hilton room benefits are the best. Marriott the pay is a little higher. I made more money at Hyatt than either, but had a worse experience. With confidence I can tell you to look up their property management company. That makes all the difference.
Also with confidence, Hilton guests are a cut above the norm. I've had tons of good times with Hilton guests.
