I’ve been a Sys Admin for the last 4 years, and I’m not very well-versed with coding. The phone screen does have whiteboard coding, any tips on what I could do to prepare for this? Hi all, I interned at IBM Cloud this past summer and had an overall very positive experience. I’ve received an offer from IBM consulting to come in as an Associate Offering Manager. The offer is 77k base + 10k signing bonus. From my point of view, this is a strong offer, but not quite what I was aiming for. I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.

I am a Product Owner with 4+ YOE. I have been in my current role for 4 months and have continuously found that this role and company are not the right fit for me. Looking back on everything they said during the interview process it turns out that the culture, product and role are not aligning with anything we discussed. They have added on responsibilities and I have continuously expressed to my direct manager how I feel.
