After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Probably the worst job market I've seen since 2007. It would be good to start applying to jobs, update your resume, etc. first before quitting.
Do not quit your job!!! Homelessness is far worse than how you’re feeling. Once AI takes over you’ll wish you had a job let alone being underpaid. The rich need to get richer and we are the sacrificial lambs!
Most definitely do not quit without something lined up. Job market is rough. I have multiple clients in different industries, that have been applying and waiting and wondering.
Wishing you the best. ❤️
That sounds awful and you're right to be wanting to move on. It is, sad to say, a difficult job market at present. You should begin applying for jobs, but be prepared to be patient. It seems like a lot of organizations are just hesitant to hire in this economy.
I’ve been looking for a new job for 2 years and just now got a new job. I’ve hustled and networked. I’ve done over ten interviews at many different banks and nothing materialized until now. And i think the only reason i got this job is because i have a network there already. If you quit, be prepared for the long haul which could be 2 years unfortunately. I have 10 years of experience, 7 at my previous firm.

Definitely line something up first before quitting. So sorry you're having to deal with this. You will get through it and emerge stronger on the other side!
Sometimes you just have to follow your gut
Hello, If the job is that stressful then I strongly suggest that you talk to your manager or to HR before you quit, and if nothing changes start looking for a new job.It would be more expensive for your present company to replace you, than to give a raise.
First, I wish you did not have to through this. Second, start aggressively looking …. even if it’s long term contract work. Just something that will keep you sane and afloat as you look for a permanent job. Third, review your benefits regarding paid leave. If you have a paid leave of some sort that you can justify, like medical. Take it to get away from environment and focus on finding another gig.
As a prior mortgage loan processor, definitely do not quit before you have something else lined up! The job market is crap and the starting pay is really low. The good news is that you will make more money when you leave and start somewhere else, so make sure you ask for your worth! Hang in there until the right opportunity comes along and best of luck to you!!

Definitely sounds like you need a new job!
I have been in a slightly similar position and I promise you there is light at the end of the tunnel. Please just hold on till you get a new job- take some time off for your sanity if you can get paid leave and aggressively focus on getting a job; not giving up even if you get rejections- just keep at it…. This is because even if we are allowed to be selfish in our decisions sometimes, other times we also have to consider the kids we are responsible for- to ensure we can provide and still have our heads high enough to assure & protect them. You got this!
