Is this role relevant to my experience or is it a role for much experienced person than me?
Any idea or information that what is the pay usually offered for this position?
Please provide your thoughts and suggest whether I should change 1. My role or 2. Request for more pay
Thanks in Advance!Wells Fargo

That’s like 95% more time then they will spend on your performance rating next year
Could be your qualifications are already good enough, and/or hiring person at the firm knows someone who has worked with you before. The conversation is to see if you gel personality wise.
Not their money...
I had 3 meetings for a 240k position and got it. I would agree with you. Hiring must be structured.
Laziness. Bad management. Should never happen. (That said, not sure why we should “expect” good management. Average at best would be a more realistic expectation level).
How long does it take you to decide if you want to work with someone? Personally think most processes take way too long and involve far more people than necessary
And the process that got most of us hired at consulting firms isn’t that much more in depth. Maybe 4 hours of interviews with 3 to 8 people...
Or less... I literally had a 30 minute phone meeting with a partner, a 45 minute meeting with a director, and got an offer the next week.
Yea generally just bad management and the age old principal agent problem
