While their SE roles are under sales my understanding is there is a heavy expectation for support and tech guidance that you will be held to account for during the interview process.
Industry experience is huge to SF right now so if you’re applying with industry expertise highlight that— if not then highlight whatever transferable skills you think would apply. They are also looking for genuine energy and passion for the work.
Beyond that— have some good luck. They’re canceling open positions as fast as they’re putting them up (I went through the ENTIRE process only for the role to get cancelled at the last minute). Nothing you can control but it’s important to understand so you’re not blindsided if it happens.
Best of luck— you got this!!!
I think that may depend on the role and the specific tech acumen— I just know there’s less emphasis on the sales aspect even though it’s technically a sales role. So that would be noteworthy if you were looking for something very sales oriented. But also something for you to ask about— every role may be different
Just ask the recruiter. They'll tell you what the process is. Typically some initial interviews, then a presentation to see your skills and abilities, then a final interview with an exec
Sweet, thanks a lot for the input!
Definitely always a fine line to walk with the BS, haha.

Check Glassdoor reviews. Sometimes they have good tips there.
