Bring an agenda, and document it. That way you have a record of what you want to discuss. Could be that they are overwhelmed with what is going on in their world. I'd encourage you to attend, and let them know how you're feeling.
Go through with it! Take the leadership role when choosing the topics of discussion. You have everything to gain with low expectations/reactions on their end while staying true to your own standards
Letting whatever happens happen is the worst possible outcome from this meeting. What is the goal of ANY meeting? Not that. Like others have said, go into the meeting with an agenda. Identify issues that can be resolved in the meeting, others that may need follow-up. Make a list during the meeting of action items on your part and action items on your boss's part and distribute after the meeting. Set deadlines for the action items and for the next follow-up. Send a calendar invitation for the next meeting. Send progress notes on the action items intermediately, say once a week or twice a month. Let your progress shame them into making their own progress and not forgetting about you.
