Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Instead they told me I needed more training and hired me as a Junior account executive at a $50k salary + commission. Today is my 6th month mark and I have done very well. Hello, I need your advice. I am currently in management in primary care. I have a strong management background in specialty hospital practice management. Recently some leadership positions have become available and I feel as if my leader has discouraged me from applying. His take is that I should take certain steps before applying, however I have the experience from my previous employment in this leadership role. Would I be overstepping to apply anyways ?

Does anyone have tips for the structured interview process? I’ve done my research but am not getting past the first round. My credentials must be acceptable if I’m being invited to interview at all. Since post-interview feedback isn’t provided, I’m sort of grasping at straws here!

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?

Applied to a job and was referred. My referral let me know ~5 days after I applied that they received an email that my application was passed to the hiring team. That was three weeks ago and haven’t heard anything from Google and my referral hasn’t heard anything. Job posting is still live. This is for a strategic initiatives role. Within norms this is moving slow? Should I expect to receive an email saying they passed?
