I'm trying really hard to land a PMM role, but none of my interviews are taking me to the next step. A lot of my work is promoting and pushing the product my company sells through sales enablement pitch decks, white papers, case studies, success stories and many more. Are these not valuable to a PMM role's functions? It's coming off to me that it isn't very impressive.

Open ended question: come annual review time, what metrics are you/your team evaluated on?

I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

Looking for an entry level product analyst/marketing role in ny. I’m doing marketing right now but barely getting any strategizing work.

Should I take this role?
Pros: 50k bump, company is full remote, no time tracking software, unlimited PTO, 10k in quarterly bonuses, vertical move in responsibility and title, will set me up for future roles in different companies with the title I am looking for (so strategic move)

Cons: Its a startup, the solution they offer is adjacent to my desired industry, its a very small team so I wouldn’t grow my network as much, tech stipend for new laptop (but they don’t provide a work one)

My project at a FAANG company completes the end of this month. For my next move, I’m looking for product and content managerial or directorial positions starting January dealing with content or marketing in tech, blockchain/cryptocurrency, or financial services/insurance. It would be great to meet people who are interviewing now to start in January. DM if you are, or have advice.

I just got an offer from a company that I have mixed feelings about. Team seems great but Glassdoor reviews, not so much. I’m currently interviewing with a couple of other companies that are amazing and would be my too choices. However, I’m very early in the process so it will probably take a month or so to get to the offer stage with them.
