I'm trying to get a job in a new city I don't know anyone in. I've been connecting and messaging people in the area at companies I'm interested in, but the response has been low. My resume has "looking to relocate" to help signal my goal, but I'm wondering if that's not a good strategy. Are there any other tips for trying to get a job in a new city you all might have?

I just had one hr call with some company. In that she kind of scared me if I'm not happy with the figure she mentioned she would drop the further process now. I got afraid and agreed but now I don't want to agree to that figure and I want to negotiate more. How this can be done. What ever I'm expecting is as per market standards n expecting 50℅ hike as fixed component. How should I get this done? I checked with other employees and my expected figure is completely normal.
