I'm working in Amazon currently as LCI associate since the last 4yrs. Currently I'm in a night (10pm-7am) graveyard shift . Despite submitting all the valid reports, doctor's note about not allowing me to work in the night shift ever, my request got denied. My health issues are genuine and WFM team has basically ignored it and rejected the request due to business needs and agent availability. I really feel this is against work ethics and values of Amazon. Thinking of resigning now.Is this right way?

I currently only handle new business, which I love, but see that other companies like liberty make you handle new business and renewals. Any insight is appreciated.

I’m interviewing with a startup and the range has a 40k difference from the lowest to highest point. It’s also pre-seed and comes with equity, and health, 401k benefits. It’s a director of sales role so I would eventually be recruiting and managing a team along with building the processes and strategy. What would you consider a fair compensation package? If they offer me something on the lower end of the range, is it still appropriate to counter with an offer that is over their stated range?

They just want to keep their power. They achieve something and they wanna keep it anyhow. Its really sad. You wanna work with your open heart but ppl above you wont let it because in the end their position will be in danger. Why would be in danger? You know stuff, you have knowledge, you can grow more and more. Right??

I got a job offer from a new company so I signed the offer letter and received the company laptop and they have created login credentials for me but my date of joining was after 15 days. Then I have submitted the resignation on current company. Now my current company found that I have accepted the offer for new company and got their laptop. Now they are asking me to pay 1.5 lakhs for giving the experience letter saying dual employment and breach of trust.

How can I handle this situation
