Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!
