So I had HR discussions after tech and managerial round and she said, she will have to get approval from management for salary discussions as it’s on the higher side as per my YOE.

Hey guys. I have a technical interview with AlixPartners restructuring and turnaround team. This is for their summer intern position. I didn’t come from a restructuring background. I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?

It is true that in service based consultings the learning curve will be better coz we'll get to work on a lot of projects compared to a captive organisation ?
