I’m not at Citi but at My firm I am paid by the firm as well as the advisors. Can you also do that’s t Citi? How are bonuses structured? Can you share in revenue? All paths to earn more. The base seems average but need bonus money too!
From my understanding the role will not be sharing in commissions. It’s a call center setting and I will be handling return customer calls.
To be honest I’m new to the finance/investment industry and I didn’t even think to ask those questions (aside from the bonuses, but I was waiting for the second interview to discuss that along with salary negotiations). I’m glad to hear the base seems at least average. I am hoping to negotiate a little over $70k since my current company announced a pay raise to try to keep us.
Are you going to be at a call center handling calls from from customers or Advisor support or a CSA at a branch working directly with an advisor? If it’s for CSA then you’re getting low balled, if you’re at a call center then not sure, but that’s probably not too far off.
