EY interview Experience
Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Hang in there. I'm going on 5 months now and have barely sniffed 6 first round interviews and just 1 second round interview. In my talks with a Recruiting Agency yesterday, they stated that a lot of postings right now are facades and the people getting interviews are the ones that have some sort of internal connection/network with the hiring company.
Same, I’ve been trying to leave my job for two years now. It feels like I’m never going to find something new. We just got to keep grinding! I’m also doing an advanced interview course right now. A lot of the feedback I’ve gotten is I haven’t had bad interviews just haven’t stuck out.
Tbh that isn't much applications.
42 and 3 interviews is a great ratio though. Keep pushing and you'll get something
I know it isn’t great, but those aren’t actually terrible numbers from what I hear! Some people have 100’s of applications sent out and maybe get one call back. Might also be doing something wrong because me and a lot of others are in this position. Just trying to keep my head up and hoping something comes through soon.
I have applied to 223 jobs as of today. Quit my last job early December, it was too toxic. Don't give up hope it's hard for everyone now. I hear if you're in Sales you typically get hired within 3 months, but for other jobs it's taking over 6 months. We have to keep going!!! Let's DO THIS!!!
Hang in there, and maybe focus on targeting fewer roles with more customized applications or warm intros.
In the same boat. Hang in there!
I’ve been there. The market really is tight right now, and it’s not always a reflection of your skills. I’ve seen talented people get stuck in long dry spells. What’s helped me is tightening my targeting—fewer apps, more tailored. Are you customizing your resume for each role or casting a wide net?
I went through a similar stretch not long ago and honestly thought I was doing something wrong too. But talking to others in the industry, it’s clear the market really is brutal right now. I started taking small breaks between apps, leaning on peers for feedback, and reminding myself that rejections aren’t reflections of my self-worth! You’re not alone in this.
It also gave me the courage to start my side hustle too. Who knows maybe I’ll get lucky and eventually make enough from the side hustle where I can quit my corporate job I despise.
Yes, the market is very tough right now. I have received rejection emails within two hours of submitting an application. As I understand if you do not have keyword in your résumé, you will not be picked. Hang in there I have been looking for six months and believe that I have finally found a new opportunity. I also was told by some recruiters that they are posting jobs but not ready to hire.
Which companies (highly expected turnaround) did you apply to ? if you don't mind.
Agreed with the other comments that that’s a respectable ratio, I’ve applied probably to 60-70 and gotten 5 interviews, no offers, good luck!
Can anyone recommend any great recruiting companies to help with the search?
47 is too low. I’ve applied to 400 since March 12.
I'm in the same boat. I've been applying since October. I've had 5 interviews and have sent out hundreds of resumes. Trying to keep my head up but my savings are dwindling. I am the bacon earner, hubby is disabled. I'm about to sell everything and say F it.
Same boat, it's brutal out there.
One month, not bad. Try 6 months with no offers. Ageism is REAL.
I was in that position last year, and it seemed Id get a first round interview after each 20 applications. 300 applications, around 15 first round HR interviews, moved to later rounds in around 10 of those. It seemed like it was just a matter of getting the numbers and finding 20 good positions each week to apply to and Id eventually find something.
