Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

Subject matter expert with my CPA. I’m completely fed up with the compliance aspect of public accounting Tax but don’t mind the technical side. Does it make sense to become an attorney to get out of compliance work and still do something related to specialty tax?

Yet another friend/colleague got engaged this weekend. It’s become impossible to celebrate people’s relationships. I’m a POC woman and I’ve been single since coming to the US 10 yrs ago. How does anyone keep time well for prayer and meditation while fully giving yourself to family and work in this economy?

One can imagine work here as meant in the maximum of work vs life here.

I know people who are constantly crashing and that’s without the set time for prayer. And despite hearts or gold, obvious piety and a high work ethic.
