We need people. We are hiring like crazy. Trust me that our recruiters will not ghost you. There must be some genuine bottleneck. Unusual for sure. But in the realm of possibility.
Should I be following up with the HR still?
I work at ZS and conduct interviews.
If she told you that there is no feedback yet, I would trust it. We don’t play games. I have been to many of the offer discussions. As soon as the team can meet, the decision is communicated.
That’s not how that works. After we meet, the principal calls to give a verbal offer. If you haven’t gotten that, that means it hasn’t been decided.
This has happened to me with ZS. I was interviewing for DAA as well. Recruiter never reached back. And after 3 weeks of me following up with her she said they aren’t hiring for that role. I was actively interviewing and they just blocked me with no response for weeks. ZS culture sucks. I’m sorry but if you look at it from a different perspective, it’s not okay.
She apologized for the delay in the emails. Left like I had a chance at the company after the interview. I hadn’t heard of any recruiter ghosting at ZS, usually they are prompt at rejects or accepts.
Just wanted to add that’s it’s been a 4 weeks now. Haven’t heard from the recruiter back for a week now.
I'm sure they will let you know. Not sure how long the delay has been but it's possible that someone was on vacation for a couple weeks at this time of year and that's what's holding it up.
Well it was a good 2 months even after my final round with the principal before my offer letter was rolled out. Stay optimistic.
Op DM me the names of recruiter/ names of interviewers. Can do some investigation for you.
Its true, same thing is happening in India as well. HR laughs a you when your quote your expectations. Call you on impromptu basis ignoring that you have a job and you have not given candidate sufficient time to manage his/her calendar. And then finally ghosts you.
HR uses cheap tactics and haggle with you on salary expectations like that of any other 3rd grade company.
