Interviewed with Apple for a role, after final round, recruiter took a long time to get back to me and said they went with another candidate and now I have to go through a series of interviews again for a similar role in a different team. I mean, can't they leverage previous interview records instead of setting up so many sessions?

Does anyone think it’s a good idea to beg for a job and put your personal life out there to get sympathy, because that is what I am seeing every day on LinkedIn and then the recruiters and everybody will comment and send the jobs and they will end up with a job or interview the next day.
I’m getting close to the point of doing that because it seems like it is working.

How much emphasis do you put on the company culture before accepting the offer?
I have an offer with 30% pay increase and will offer me a D role in publicly traded company (IPO in 2020), but I have read very polarized reviews on glassdoor (e.g., micro manage, yes sir mentality, long hours, unstructred)

Also, their benefits are not very attractive (e.g., 2 week paternity, 3.5% 401k match, unlimited vaca -- which means you have to take permission and have to feel guilty if you take off longer)

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere.
