Interviewing for a boutique and the next round was a case interview that I had to turn around in 24 hours. They said they would release the case at a specific date/time, that time came and went, then 24 hours came and went, with nothing. I didn't follow up because I assumed they ran into technical issues (also because I didn't enjoy the first round experience so was fine with letting it fizzle out). Could it be a test to see if candidates would proactively reach out?

Is anyone else facing the brunt of working in a service based company and trying to move to a startup product company being dragged down by the 90 days notice period.

I have had a couple of interviews with good startup product companies where the main issue is my 90 days of notice period. Most startups simply run away at the mention of 90 days NP.

Even established product companies shy away at this. Has anyone recently switched despite this long a notice period?

Does the gap of one month will affect job opportunities or interview calls for IT jobs especially in current market scene?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Does anyone teach in class elementary, middle, or high school and also teaches college level? If so, how did you get the college level job? I have a masters and specialist degree and teach in class. I also want to teach college level online but have a hard time either finding a position available or applying. I’m now in the middle of my doctorate degree though it’ll be another year before I’m done.

Finally after months of interviewing, I accepted an offer with FAANG. During the process got rejected by over 10 companies for one or the other reason. This community has been really helpful to me and I would like to help anyway I can. So ASK ME ANYTHING and I will answer as much as possible.
