interviewing for a senior role and they are asking me to do an assignment. It's giving me an icky feeling especially because they want me to sign an NDA before they send me the brief.... thoughts on this? I'm debating asking them to agree in writing to not using my work.

Very specific to retail and/or hospitality in-house roles: has anyone found a good solution for predictive scheduling? Our retail division has one set of software for scheduling and one for payroll, and neither of them can handle predictive scheduling compliance issues unless they’re used for both the scheduling and payroll functions. I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house.
