I wouldn’t myself let alone traveling with three additional people who could be unpredictable in terms of needs and speeds. My min layover time with children is two hours for international and one hour domestic.
Even at the smallest airports, your in inbound is 15 min late, you taxi and wait for a spot for 15 min, kids need a snack and bathroom break taking 20 minutes, it takes you 10 minutes to walk at pace to the next gate…there goes an hour easily with just three fairly common setbacks. With 1.5 hr layover, the international flight is halfway through boarding by the time you get to the gate.
That’s my mom math, which is very different from the single, I can sprint through the airport with my duffel, math.
Yes if your flight is on time
In normal times, doubtful.
They keep losing planes on their radar so who knows now.... With delays could be plenty of time.
Not a good idea - give yourself 3-4 hours
Will be close. Deplane. Walk to immigration. Line (if no global entry). Re-clear. Walk to gate.
Why do I need to go through immigration? I will be leaving US
If your flight is on time, yes it doable but you would have to move quickly.
Also, if you’re flying United, you should know that it operates out of both terminal C (main hub, probably all United international flights), and terminal A (many inbound flights from Florida and some other locations arrive here).
If you arrive into terminal A and then fly out of terminal C for your international flight, it will take an extra 20 min or so to get to terminal C via the bus shuttle between terminals and then you will have to get to your gate. So something to be aware of just in case it happens- I’m not sure it’s common knowledge
