Is a test necessary for a new role to ensure that you’re capable of what is going to be thrown at you? Or is an interview discussing how processes work + debits and credits enough?

I have an Amazon Hiring Manager phone interview Tuesday. Can I use my phone instead of my computer? I’m just worried because it looks like there’s no video with through the phone app. Is this okay or will the HM expect to see me on video?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

I am having 8.7 YOE JAVA Backend developer and having offer from Nagarro now.
So I wanted to know about the BGV process, like what docs they ask like docs from all of the past employers ?
And do they ask after joining or before joining ?
As I dont have exp letter from my 1st company (with 1.6 yoe) which was a small startup.
It was a absconding case so couldnt get any exp letter but I do have payslips, bank statements, appointment letter & last appraisal letter from that company.

Any good suburbs with decent connectivity where i can get 2b/2b apartment for upto $4500? Previously lived in a luxury building in JC but now every decent apartment there is over 5.5k which to me in insane. Having said that, I don’t want to comprise on quality and size of apartment. So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)

Expecting an offer this week or early next week, but want to know when you start negotiating the salary? When you receive the call from the company or wait until receiving the formal offer letter? And how should the negotiation start? Through phone calls or emails? Didn’t use recruiter for this position, so I don’t know what is the process here.
