Is Amex Gold worth the $195 annual fee? I don’t book much airfare on it

Currently single with no major financial obligations (no debt, no car, etc.). I feel like I make decent money ($225k) but somehow can’t seem to save at all. Anyone else feel like this?

Any downside to buying a 1bed 170k starter house instead of paying 1.5k in rent for a couple of years? Living with parents and thinking of getting a new place post covid.

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

I have been searching for a travel card for months. I am a young guy who is looking to take advantage of credit and earn points at the same time. Cap One just released an interesting new premium travel card with a lot of seemingly good perks (Venture X). I also looked at the CSP and the Southwest Priority card.
