Is an MBA worth it if you don't want to work in consulting/finance (both seem to have poor wlb)?

I sense consulting, finance & tech are the major post outcomes. I suppose only tech remains if not consulting or finance?

Currently in Canada, age 33, first generation Canadian citizen who came to Canada over 12 years ago as a student. Unhappy with my pay & career. Working in Telco making a TC of 84k CAD with 10 yoe.

Want to earn more $, have better career, be valued. Not sure if MBA is the key?

I just got into reading books, any suggestions to start with? Which could help to increase media/marketing knowledge.

How much an application development team lead gets @ accenture YOE 6 ?

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Should I try to negotiate a raise or look for other opportunities?

I have 4 yrs of exp as full stack developer and my current CTC is 15 lpa and notice period is of 3 months. I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? Should I connect with my current hr to negotiate? Cause I tried convincing the new hr to share the offer letter of DOJ after 3 months but she is not in the favour of that.

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? I have been in an awkward reporting structure for 2.5 years. On record I’ve reported to the VP of Marketing, who was crazy toxic, and technologically inept. I’m a senior website manage and she had no interest in my role. She shirked me off to also report to her two directors, PR and Call Center. Needless to say, that’s been a difficult situation for me. She’s gone and the new VP starts tomorrow. Any guidance on how to ensure this ends with the incumbent VP?
