I had a very positive experience interviewing with Amazon for an L5 Technical Writer role. I originally applied for a lower level writing role, ending up acing my Loop, and was passed on to speak to the hiring manager for the L5 role.

Given the positive tone of our conversation, I expect to receive an offer this week.

Can somebody tell me what kind of base salary/bonus/RSU ranges I should aim for? I'm transitioning to tech and have 10+ years of professional writing experience. PNW based.

Technically, I'm not a college student anymore because I just graduated in December. I am having trouble finding jobs within my field (Communications with little experience in marketing). I've gotten plenty of interviews, but none of them have made it past the first formal interview (phone screening then interview). Any advice?

Is it a bad sign if the company that typically moves fast (as said by former interviewees) is taking a long time to tell you whether or not you move forward to the next round in an interview?

Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. Anyone else feel discourage ? I thought my interview went amazing and today I received the standard email rejection. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen those emails but this one hurt more than the others. I sat in my car and just cried. Hiding from my family, so they wouldn’t feel bad with me.
