Is anyone else in consulting actually doing ML, optimisation etc? All my company sells is Azure API wrappers nowadays, I've barely done any machine learning in the last 2 years - not a good look for job apps

How did you all get your first job in PM? Did you start as a Project Coordinator or PM? I have the skills of a Project Coordinator and would like to just transition to a PM role but it’s been difficult to find junior PM roles.

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. Since I will have the PM title, what is the roadmap for moving to FAANG (or similar) or SaaS digital end to end dev/implementation companies as a Technical PM/Senior PM/Program Manager?

I have 5 YOE in Account Management, 2+ of which are in heavy digital working with Dev, Digital PMs, and client tech/implementation teams.

How hard is it to get an interview for SWE at FAANG outside of on campus recruiting? I’m in GT’s OMSCS program right now, hoping to take advantage of career fairs this fall, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to prepare for the technical interviews before then.
