My district is 10million in the red so nope
No salary increase and no movement on the career ladder, either.
At least 3.5% next year but it still hasn’t been finalized. Received 7% last year and 7.5% the year before. Love having a union! Will be making at least $123,000 next year. Masters plus 90, 25 years experience.
I like a master would get me 55k
We got lay offs.
How can yall have a layoff... there are not enough teachers to fill our positions?
Thankfully, we are in a union and 2 years left on the contract, so we get a 5% and then 4%.
I'm in a union too so we have 5% increases for the next 3 years. I've worked in union districts and non-union districts and I've got to say that the union has consistently had my back. I know that some times the union gets a bad rap (and I definitely don't think they're perfect) but I'd never go back to a non-union job. The security is just so much better with the union having your back
We negotiate every year. With a step AND a COLA I’m getting a 10% raise…..puts me at just over $110K for the upcoming year.
In my school district, most are receiving a 3% increase for the 24-25 school year.
