Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Today i called HR and they said manager has not provided any update on my application. Should i wait for the offer letter or look opportunity in another organisation? Deloitte Deloitte India

I think it depends on where you’re going. If you’re going to another accounting firm where that is likely not the case, I wouldn’t bring it up. If you’re going somewhere where you know will have better hours and the person you’re interviewing with doesn’t seem like a huge grinder, then fine to bring up. Also, if that’s the reason you’re leaving and you really want the place you’re going to to have a good work/life balance (vs just really wanting to leave your current job and needing any new job), then it may be a good indicator to see how they react to your saying that. Regardless, I would just be a little careful how you say it. Something along the lines of “While I still want to work hard, I’m hoping to go somewhere with a better work/life balance than what I currently have. I’ve learned a lot these past few years and am grateful for the experience but am at a point in my life where I’d like a little more time to spend with my family.” Will come off better than just saying something like “I want a better work/life balance because I’m sick of working that many hours.”
Depends. I bonded over that with the controller I interviewed with because she used to work at a B4 and left for the same reasons. Maybe someone who doesn’t have B4 background won’t understand why that’s really important
Yes. If it’s important to you, you should bring it up. If it’s not important to that company you will end up just as miserable at your next role
