It probably depends on what you mean by going to burst but I think most feel this way by week 38. I was dilated 3+ cm for two weeks leading up to my due date and ended up having to be induced 10 days after my due date with my first.
Regardless of when it happens just try to enjoy your final days of pregnancy, pamper yourself and congrats!
Ah thank you! That’s great to know. I feel like he’s taking up more space, getting under my rib, and when I stand up in the morning I feel like I have something huge between my legs. Like there’s not much space to grow into anymore. But yeah just “feelings” of a newbie! :)
Enjoying the final days for sure, starting to feel a bit nostalgic! It’s been fun, personally :)
I went early with both of my kids - 39 exactly with my first, 37w3d with my 2nd. My second I felt like he was going to fall out at any point starting around 33 or 34w. That tightness feeling is the baby’s head descending into your pelvis and getting ready to rock n roll! Any day now mama, Godspeed! And just remember, anything past 37w and your baby is pretty unlikely to need a NICU stay. Due dating is not an exact science - the last 3 weeks or so is just bonus time for them to get bigger!

You’re in the home stretch - literally and figuratively! Honestly anytime after 38 weeks is game time. Pack that hospital bag and the baby will be here before you know it. Good luck!! 🥰
I don't mean to burst your bubble, so to speak, but I felt that way with my last one and he went a week over and I had to be induced! Do a lot of walking if possible and the best prediction is what runs in your family.
No it doesn’t :) but it will happen soon. Promise
