There is study on judge decision and the result was earlier the better or the first one after the lunch is also good.

If you’re not first, you’re last.
Just got a tech offer and I interviewed first. Feedback from the Hiring Manager was that after my interview, they had already made their mind up that they wanted me. So in my opinion, it depends on how strong of a candidate you are..
The recruiter said that they interviewed a couple more candidates, I knew of someone who was in the pipeline (interview 3/4 (4 being the one with the Hiring Manager)) and they rang both of us on the same day to say that for them.. they went with another candidate and for me, they were extending an offer

If you’re the right candidate, it won’t matter
If you’re undifferentiated, probably middle?
Last because of recency bias
In most cases I’d say first - your resume was probably on top of the pile already and if you played your cards right you’re the benchmark they interview others against. As long as there’s no unicorn with internal connections coming in halfway they’ll likely wanna close as quickly as possible and get back to business as usual with someone that can hit the ground running.
